The same pit-to-port discipline
The iron ore division will follow the model we already run for bauxite in Raigad: systematic open-cast mining, on-site crushing and screening, grading lots by chemistry, testing at the stockpile and again at loading, and dispatch by road and port.
Hematite (Fe₂O₃) and magnetite (Fe₃O₄) are the two main iron ores used by India's steel industry. Supplying both, as lumps and fines, lets us serve blast furnace, direct-reduction, sinter and pellet buyers. See how our operations work.
